Tanya initially experienced hip problems in November 2018. Andra was recommended to her from UBC Vancouver Sports Clinic. Tanya’s hip was irritated, and walking was extremely painful. Andra helped resolve the problem within a week.

In November 2019, Tanya returned to Andra at Eglinton Physiotherapy. Tanya come in for physiotherapy with a Right Frozen Shoulder. Her case was severe.

There was 20 degrees of motion in all planes and the pain level was preventing her from sleeping, performing her office job duties. At home she was unable to care for herself for basic grooming activities like washing her hair or fastening her bra. Andra quickly helped resolve the pain within a couple of weeks and restored functional mobility in under two months.

Most frozen shoulder issues, if untreated can prolong into later stages causing further damage. Recovery can take from one to two years depending on the level of injury.

Andra’s treatment included Holistic approaches. She investigates all the aspects of the problem. She combines her professional knowledge and various techniques to target the individual problem to achieve the most sustainable results.

Tanya is receiving Manual Therapy, Shockwave Therapy, Laser Therapy and Acupuncture. Most importantly, she learned how to take care of her body to avoid encountering any future complications.

She continues to do her prescribed exercises to increase stability and mobility of her shoulder. Andra increases the intensity of the program concurrent to Tanya’s recovery stages. By only the three-months mark, Tanya is now able to use the professional TRX system and spar with Andra in friendly combats.
