Medical Radial Shockwave Therapy

Medical radial shockwave therapy is a non-invasive, highly specialized medical modality that generates precise acoustic pressure waves to the targeted area of treatment in order to promote tissue healing.

Shockwave therapy accelerates the healing process by improving local blood flow resulting in the stimulation of the metabolism, reorganization of the local soft tissue, recovery of injured soft tissue (muscle), and addresses bone and joint pain.

Evidence supports the use of shockwave therapy for improvements for men’s pelvic health including ED.

Shockwave therapy sessions are usually 20-to-30 minutes long. There are no known shockwave therapy side effects.

Shockwave therapy is evidence-based and has shown to effectively treat conditions such as:

  • Feet - heel pain/spurs, Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles tendon pain - Tendinitis/ Tendinopathy

  • Knee - Osteoarthritis, Jumper’s knee (inflammation or injury of the patellar tendon)

  • Upper leg - hamstring muscle injury

  • Hip and Sacroiliac joint – pain

  • Shoulder - Rotator Cuff pain - Tendinitis/ Tendinopathy, Calcifications, Frozen Shoulder

  • Elbow - tennis and golfer elbow

  • Wrist/Hand - Pronator Syndrome, Trigger finger, Dupuytren’s contracture

  • Decalcification of the calcium build-up

  • Back - lumbar and cervical spine regions/ chronic muscular pain

  • Stress Fractures / Slow-healing bone

  • Connective Tissue pain and degeneration

  • Scar Tissue

  • And more
