Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) / Photobiomodulation (PBM)

BioFlex is Advantage FDA cleared and Health Canada & CE, Certified as Class 3 Medical Device approved. This therapy can trigger and accelerate the healing process at the cellular level.

Using patented technology, the DUO Array high power LED super-luminous diode targets multiple layers of tissue; cutaneous, subcutaneous tissue, and blood cells. It is able to generate a systemic effect to promote the healing process, improve the inflammatory response, and generate synapses when neurons (nerve cells) are targeted.

The DUO Array emits both Red and Infrared wavelengths when placed in contact with the skin. We use the Class 3b Laser Dial Infrared (LD-I) 200 mW (Milliwatts probe) and Red Laser Probe 100mW to get light as deep as possible to the injured area.

By targeting the blood cells, the BioFlex Advantage generates an immune modulating effect at the level of white cells, stem-cells, and platelets in the blood which improve tissue health. Light therapy (within specific parameters) is very effective because it targets the mitochondria. There is an abundance of mitochondria in neurons and these cells are very reactive to light.

Light therapy of this kind promotes tissue regeneration, decreases inflammation at the source and alleviates pain.
