Manual Therapy
The physiotherapist uses their hands to provide assessment and treatment to the local joints, muscles, connective tissues, and nerves in a graded manner from a light, low-grade, gentle manual technique to a higher grade to restore movement, relieve pain and create a new awareness of the tissue mobility and health.
At Eglinton Physiotherapy, the manual therapy treatments will be always performed with your approval and within your comfort level. Our therapists have taken post-graduate training in manual therapy and use manual therapy techniques as part of their treatment.
