Stimpod NMS 460

The Stimpod NMS 460 is a ground-breaking technology that uses Pulsed Radio-Frequency (PRF) waveform superimposed with a Direct Current on a square waveform at low frequency. It is applied to the affected area transcutaneously. It is able to locate and map the peripheral nerves identifying the nerve problem and progress into targeted treatment for the damaged nerve.

The Stimpod NMS 460 is a non-invasive, non-injurious neuro-modulation device, a drug-free modality effective to manage and treat neuropathic pain, chronic intractable pain, post-traumatic pain issues, including headache(s), Bell palsy, sciatica, chronic pelvic and hip pain.

The treatment improves nerve conduction and is able to treat the damaged nerve or neuropraxia e.g.  Bell’s palsy.  It also helps with pain relief, mobility and strength improvement post-treatment.

Improvement of symptoms occurs after 3 to 10 treatments depending on the affected nerve initial condition. The treatment can be applied locally at the level of the peripheral nerve or at distance from the offending region at the level of the nerve root.

Each treatment is short in duration per peripheral nerve stimulation and lasts about 5 to 10 minutes.
