The Airplane

An advanced exercise for Deep Back Stabilizers and Hip Rotators using a thick mat or stability foam

Here your proprioception (the sense that lets us perceive the location, movement, and action of parts of the body) of the lower leg is challenged

Create rotations driven through a stationary hip with the CORE engaged, along with your back & hip

Perform 10 repetitions of full trunk rotation on a fixed hip

Same Side Arm & Leg Lift On Blocks - With Band at the Pelvis

Hip and shoulder stability work with CORE recruitment

The band will challenge your deep spine stabilizers

Hold for 10 seconds and then perform arm and leg drives/lifts 10 repetitions on each side

The Slider

Progression on two stacked foam mats with a heavier band above the knees to challenge the hip rotators and CORE

Perform 5 Repetitions ensuring you have good form
