The approach to treatment for Pelvic Floor (PF) should be multi modal where strength is only one part of the puzzle, IF identified to be appropriate.

In the event of sub-optimal function of the Pelvic Floor due to increased PF muscle tone, strengthening would NOT be the best choice.

Failing to identify the appropriate approach for Pelvic Floor will exacerbate one’s symptoms.
